しかし、信じたことのない方を、どうして呼び求めることができるでしょう。聞いたことのない方を、どうして信じることができるでしょう。宣べ伝える人がなくて、どうして聞くことができるでしょう。「良いことの知らせを伝える人々の足は、なんと美しいのでしょう。」そのように、信仰は聞くことから始まり、聞くことは、キリストについてのみことばによるのです。

How, then, can they call on whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’ Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.                                                    Romans 10:14-15, 17
